I wonder if the "Tree Sparrow" stamp is even a stamp, or just a label that may or may not even have been issued by a postal authority somewhere.

My guess is the "Tree Sparrow" stamp is from a cinderella/poster stamp sheet of stamps from any number of organizations such as the Audubon Society, National Wildlife Federation, etc. Since in their day, different sheets of these stamps were printed each year with different images on them, one would need to do further research to find that specific example.

thank you very much wt1, it is atualy a National Wildlife Federation
stamp, there is a tiny logo bottom left hard to see, dating 1971,
