I am guessing that the stamp depicts a hexagonal-shaped magnifying loupe with a flip-over UV or colour filter of some sort. Am I right? Is this tool available for purchase does anyone know? Does anyone have one?

interpreting icons is a favourite of mine,
I'd say you would be close,
The representation of the loupe is focussing
on the winged cap of Hermes by the look of things.

Afterthought: Are they representations of the coloured chips
that isolate and identify watermarks?
I don't recall a wmk of Hermes helmet however.

Perhaps the winged helmet is a symbol of some group or club, perhaps in Barcelona, who helped put on the exposition?

my double post (also in the odd shapes on stamps thread) has been deleted. Sorry, I enthused overly!

Hexagonbus1 (alias Londonbus1), Yes it is on thick paper. I noticed first off but thought I was misjudging the whole thing as it was late at night. Thank you for extras! Mine is sitting here lonely on the keyboard waiting for company.

Both thick paper.
One is shorter and is on slightly different coloured paper, although is used (no gum) so possibly a soaking / staining result.
