This one of my favourite revenue usages: the Barwani Ranjitsingh 1 Anna red of circa 1915
on the quittance roll for the Barwani State military band, and a later, Devi Singh 1 Anna red used on the quittance roll for the British Indian Post office postman at Rajpur in Barwani State
showing he received the princely sum of 20 Rupees 15 Annas for his labours between the 6 and 31 January 1936 - a bit better than $US5
