You can see a 1.15 minute video of the design and manufacture of the Porsche logo at www.logodesignlove.com.From the logodesignlove website, "the Porsche crest first appeared in late 1952 in the center of the Pre A's steering wheel. Porsche's company logo was based on the coat of arms of the Free People's State of Wurttemberg of former Weimar Germany. As the cars were made in Stuttgart, The Stuttgart coat of arms was placed in the middle as an escutcheon.  |

On September 9, 1999 Norway issued a sheet including eight different domestic rate (4.00 kr.) stamps on the theme of everyday life in the country. Images were selected from public submissions. One stamp (Facit #1363) shows a car at a gas pump, circa 1930.  |
