Indeed, the records of XADI cars were achieved on the salt lake Baskunchak in the 60s. Then the track worsened and the races stopped. In general, motorsport was a rarity in the USSR, but I personally saw similar cars at the training ground of Moscow Automobile and Highway University (MADI) in 1986.

On September 13, 1977 the DDR issued a set of five stamps showing items from the Dresden Transport Museum. The 25 pf stamp (Mi #2257) from this set depicts the "Phaenomobil" tricycle carriage/car of 1924. Pic shows car in Museum exhibit space.
