Another one ... the Hotel Belmont in New York (with a partial socked on the nose cancel.) Opulent for the period, I believe: Quote: The Belmont Hotel, across 42nd St from Grand Central, was the tallest in the world when built in 1908. It was demolished in 1939. |

Now to Florida ... The Don-Ce-Sar Beach Hotel in Pass-a-Grille Beach. On a philatelic note, the 1937 cancel (Pass-a-Grille Beach, Florida) is a Discontinued Post Office (1931-1958). The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places:  |

I've seen a lot of these types of hotel covers at shows recently, and find them very tempting. But then I'm easily tempted. Here's a modest CP Hotel cover.  |

Unfortunately, most of the hotel covers I have are from a "dollar dealer", so their overall condition isn't the best. But the vingettes are still nice |
