I have several of these type stamp, but each one has a value printed in the lower left box. Nothing here on this one. Is this an error or did I miss something? (Packing my bags to retire now!)
thank you peterethio, thanks to my color blindness, it blended right in til you mentioned it. Never saw the one before, but you are absolutely correct, a registration error, probably happened at start up of press, when they were fixing the registration. When I worked at the paper we spent a good 5 minutes with the press running to try and adjust registration so that the web pages would line up.
