bobby, I assume you are talking about Scott#674 and SG#907 for GB. I haven't seen or heard about this error so if it is a true error it would be worth more than a normal stamp.

Please provide a scan of this stamp.

Is the stamp mint or used.
If it's used and has been soaked, then it's possible it left prominent Phosphor bands [Tagging] and appears a different colour to the rest of the Red area.

Please show us a pic if you can.

Thanks

In the 7.5p church stamp, the bands are caused by the phosphor bands. The original background produced by the ink is a solid color.

SG lists the color as orange-red. Hard to tell color on a computer screen, but if you say the color is now orange, then it is most likely a color changeling. If the orange-red was completely missing, you would not have that background. There is a remote possibility that there was an inking problem. That, you would have to submit to an expert for certification, but it is unlikely worth the cost.

Without physically examining the stamp, it is most likely a color changeling.

Just my non-expert opinion based on the picture.

I agree with khj, now the scans are up. Both the Church and Mayflower stamps look like they have been exposed to too much sun causing change of colour. Just like the kind of thing one might see in a stamp shop window !

The Minor perf shift on the Cathedral stamp is probably worth a mark-up but not drastically so.

Thanks for posting the pics, bobbygg.

Nice mis-perf stamp bobby. This from one who likes those sorts of things, especially mis-perfs.

When Khun Chanarong was to replace a cliche of the 3 satangs,
Oops, he put in the 5 satang. (thai pronounce "stang")

I don't like to be picky,
but Greece here on "swinging the propeller"

Is the gentleman trying to swing the cylinder heads

...and, if he has the pilots headset on, should he not
be sitting in the cockpit?

I don't recognize the plane, but if it was a rotary engine, the cylinders and the prop would be attached to each other, and you could theoretically start it either way. You just have to pull your hand away faster...

Nicaragua ERROR.
Sc#C241 1940
Inscription reads President Somoza addressing US Parliament (Senate)

This must be incorrect, it is the House of Representatives
(3 steps leading up to the Speaker's desk, there are only 2 in the Senate)
