A "Motorpflug" (tractor) is depicted on the 15 pf value (Michel #37) of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's definitive series of January 17, 1946. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was in the Soviet Zone of occupation of post-WWII Germany.  |

This 1981, 15 p stamp (Hib #C305) of Ireland depicts a tractor invented by Irish engineer Harry Ferguson (1884-1960). It employs a hydraulic three-point hitch system which is still used worldwide today. From Wikipedia, "This tractor, the Ferguson Model A, incorporated Harry Ferguson's 'suction side' hydraulic control system, the key to solving sensitive automatic control of mounted implements and patented on February 5, 1936."  |

On April 8, 1987 Ireland issued a set of four "Anniversaries" stamps. The 28 p value (Hib. #C458) celebrates the 50th anniversary of Muintir na Tire (People of the Country), a voluntary organization promoting community development. A tractor appears on the right side of the stamp.  |

On November 11, 1964 Venezuela issued a set of 10 stamps (5 regular + 5 airmail) to commemorate the centenary of the Ministry of Development, and to publicize the National Industries Exposition. This 10 centimos airmail stamp from the set depicts a tractor.  |

On December 5, 1971 the Republic of Korea issued a two-stamp set to commemorate their Second Five-Year Plan for Economic Development. The 10 won value of this set, shown here, publicizes agricultural development in the "Four Great River Valley". The largest tractor on the stamp is approximately 3.5 mm in length.   |
