The issue of the Zaporozhets Tractor postage stamp is dedicated to the centenary of the first serial three-wheeled tractor produced in Ukraine. A prototype was released in 1921, and serial production began in 1923 at the Chervonyi Progress plant (Velykyi Tokmak, Zaporizhia Oblast).
At that time, the Zaporozhets tractor was one of the best - it had a simple design, worked on cheap oil of any quality, and could be repaired even in a village smithy. By 1926, a total of more than 500 tractors had been produced.
