Jamesw: I'm slow - it took me about 15 minutes of moving through other threads before it hit me and I've been laughing ever since! She has been the topic of conversation in my coffee group on a number of occasions.
Rod - I've driven your Cockshut (and many others) but wouldn't have been able to put it on here because my collection sort of peters out at about the beginning of the Elizabethan era. You will be glad to know though that within seconds (thanks to ACDSee) I knew how many tractor images I had in my database (also thanks to you as mentor, of course). |

Chomping through the stubble, I stand corrected. I think machine compaction has been a concern in modern farming, and with GPS assistance machines can now follow well prepared routes.
Nice to see you handling ACDSee Cynical :)
Are you aware you can print a file list of your searched "tractors" ? afer you end up with your sub set you click on Tools / Generate a file listing and it will give a list of all your stamps shown, which you can print out.

The above stamp with "Sari" overprint. The story......... The handstamped stamps reading Islamic Revolution Iran, were made in 1979, privately by a person in the post office of Sari in northern province of Mazandaran in Iran. Apparently he had also a collaborator in the National Bank in the same town and both were relieved from their jobs after they have attempted mailing these stamps from that bank to various places. |
