I am wondering if we can identify this cancel and maybe the perfinned company. Looking at the perfin I think I get "T.S" and under that "Ld" for Limited (but the perfin is inverted)? Thanks as always - Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I believe it's T.S/L.D for Tillotson & Sons Ltd, Bolton which matches the postmark.

Thanks everyone for the information and that also explains the crude postmark. Here is more to the Tillotson story that I just found thanks to Nigel.
