Every now and then I get a wee bit distracted from my collecting focus.

I stopped by my local coin & stamp dealer's shoppe this afternoon and he had put out some stamp lots in binders. Most were uninteresting topical chum, but there was one lot to my liking: a binder of old manilla stocksheets, chock full of classic Hungary.
Yes, I know full well that classic Hungary isn't worth the paper it's printed on. But I like scrounging through hoards of old "stuff" looking for color shades, perf varieties, and bullseye cancels.
Also, I couldn't say no to the price: US$30 for the lot!
I figure that's about a half cent per stamp.

I scanned in all the pages, but I know that cluttering up the board with big pictures is frowned upon, so I've put them online as a webpage (lots of very large pictures, so please be patient):
http://www.revenue-collector.com/stamps/Hungary/Just perusing it, I saw some nice neat cancels worth salvaging, and some of the very early stuff is worth checking for nonstandard perfs.
At the very least it will provide some hours of cheap entertainment on some cold winter's night...
