This stamp is giving me an ulcer. I cant tell if it is E1 or E1a and I dont know what they mean by Yellow. Did the paper appear yellow, the glue? and the E1a is supposed to be white paper. This looks like it, but I do not know. Can someone help?? I have not enhanced the color at all so any variation is simply from scan. Thanks as always - Jeff

The prices in both SG and Scott are very much higher for the white paper stamps but I'm not convinced this is one of them though I don't have any of this set to compare it with.

I have a bunch of yellow ones. They are a very light tan yellow rather than strongly yellow. Very much like yours.

Yes
I have used ones also with the same paper, and the catalog I have does not list any used white ones as being available.

EDIT -- Of course I would be quite tickled to find out I have only the rare ones!
