A recent post showing a used half-cent Queen Victoria Jubilee stamp (Canada Scott#50) produced a deja vu moment for me. Many of the ones I have seen looked like they had been dragged through the mud. Anyway, I finally traced where I had seen some recent auction news regarding this issue (see link below) as well as some news regarding some other issues (e.g., Scott#86a). There is also commentary on Chinese stamps showing up in recent Canadian auctions.
