My dear, departed husband was an avid stamp collector. He sold the majority of his collection, but I found a framed set of signed Arthur Szyk Israeli stamps with tabs. How do I find out their value? I haven't decided if I will sell them or give them to my cousin for a Bar Mitzvah gift. I appreciate any help anyone will provide.

I don't have much information on these stamps, but this link may be helpful from a 2006 mail sale where these stamps are referenced. (Advance down to Lot 2171.)

In the US these would be referred to in the Scott Catalog as #35-36, issued on August 31, 1950. Unfortunately, my catalog is too old to give accurate values, so someone else will have to chime in on that point.

It seems to me there would certainly be a premium for a signed set of the stamps. Likewise, the above link suggests that only 50 sets were signed, which would seem to be quite a limited number.
