Hi,

I think it is a 3pf imperforate Scott #48a.

There are 3 waves lines (WM 95v) when I look with some light.

Is it possible?

Thank you!

The post horns in the upper corners instead of the value would
I believe indicate this was a cut out from a postal stationary entire.

It's interesting how the cancel ink did not adhere well to the green ink. For example, examine the outermost green frame line; the postmark almost seems to disappear and then reappear across the frame line.

Well cdnum the Michel I have shows no stamp with post horns in the corners.

There is a notation which loosely translates that pieces which have
post horns instead of numerals in the upper corners are always
cut outs from entires.

I just found the same issue (with a different value) and was about to post the same question. However, the reverse of my stamp gave me a good indication that it was a Postcard.

Hi Cd. Paper is very hard, stiff. I don't know how it appeared in the collection ... Grandma got it from somewhere. Displays nicely, though.

Note: Letters are upside down on the reverse side.

Hi Partime,

Paper is not hard on mine. As you can see on this picture, very esay to fold. Back look like a normal stamp without inscription. Maybe it exist some postal stationary like this.

Couple months ago, someone sell a stamp like this as sc48a ($$$) on ebay. I don't know if it is possible because Yvert nota bene.

Thank you!
