Hi,

I was just looking for confirmation that these stamps were part of a booklet pane.

Thanks.

Hi Smauggie
Depends on the paper type, the DLR and Jones chalk-surfaced paper and the Cowans thick chalk-surfaced all came in booklet form. Prices for panes of 6 range from £110 to £150 mint, according to my NZ SG catalogue.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, David. If I had to guess these would be the Cowans thick chalk-surfaced paper. If these were not booklet stamps would there be an excuse for this pair to have selvage on both sides?

Wouldn't know of one. The booklet is the most likely source.
