Received two packages today One from Ahmed a great selection  and a great cover fro Abu Dhabi. ..and a great GB selection from Dave  Thanks Boys! Some work to do now, maybe have to zip up the purse for a while. |

Ummmm, Errrr, Welllll..., I had more German spaces to fill than I thought  I am nearly finished my Germany mounting but may be a tad less Dianne. Do you collect Australia? I can pop a year collection in......  No, not Kangaroos :) |

Those lines are for electronic perforation control. The conversion to electronic perforation control occurred during the U.S. 1938 regular issue (Presidential series). For the 1/2c to 50c stamps of that series, pre-eye plates have the plate number farther from the stamps and have no bars in the left margin. Eye plates have plate numbers close to the stamps and have horizontal bars in the left margin to control perforation. |
