An amazing Cinderella item has just landed from raywrio ! The 1939 New York World's Fair sheet is simply amazing...and at last I have one after all my searching. It is huge and I am not sure how to go about storing it. I will try to find something in Tel Aviv tomorrow. A thousand thanks Ray for such a gem......  Londonbus1  |

LB, The Kingsford Smith items arrived safely. Could not be happier with the condition and the extras that you included.
Although they were unnecessary they are welcomed and appreciated. You have been one of the best sellers here so the delay was never an issue. Looking forward to more of your auctions and sales.

The GB QV's from the Thank You sale have arrived! The conditioning is stunning, way above what I paid! The bonus "ivory" was NOT necessary and forces me to find something for you, which I WILL!
Not only did the stamps bring great philatelic joy, but they brought our Vancouver summer! We have not had much but constant drizzle rain plus cool weather for the past month, but now the forecast is 2+ weeks of nothing but Israeli sun, since you envelope arrived!

Many thanks to the most fabulous BUS of them all! I returned home, after a long absence, to find a lovely package of Israel stamps. I'm going to have to come up with an activity about Israel for the junior stamp club. They are going to have a nice start for their collections. Muchos gracias!!  |

I just discovered this thread. I thought the topic title meant something else so I didn't read it. I just read the whole 34 pages and I agree with Puzzler--- it's really an upper to read about other people's enjoyment.  Now, I'll try to catch up: A big thank you to SFGODA! who sent a beautiful assortment of ~200 stamps for the 7-year-old son of one of my friends! I had Grant send him a thank you letter but I think a public acknowledgement is well warranted! Grant loves his new hobby and his mom is grateful that he has a new activity to excite him for the summer... and we hope for much longer. It's another big upper to watch a kid's excitement about stamps! It has had the domino effect of getting his family and friends interested in saving stamps for him and who knows maybe more collectors will come out of it. Also thank you to JAMESW! for the Commonwealth stamps. Between you and LB1 I'm getting back into my grandfather's Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which I have been ignoring for decades.
