Amazing Stamp Forum We Have! Part 2--Feedback

Thank you, Phil, for the covers! I received my "On Her Majesty's Service" cover and I really like the whimsical cancellation slogan "HASTINGS - Popular With Visitors Since 1066" (well, King Harold II probably wasn't too excited about HIS visit there).
Phil also included a WWII cover with enclosed letter from a private to his wife moaning about his being at Camp Ellis, IL. Both atractive pieces for my collection. Thanks again, Phil!

Not sure what his username is here but I got an email last week from Jim Mackay complimenting me on my website. He noticed I was missing a bunch from the last few years and on Tuesday I received 1 envelope full of modern US and today received 2 more packed envelopes from him. What a really, really nice thing to do. I offered to buy them when he first contacted me and he only wanted my address.

I received a great bunch of WW stamps yesterday from Londonbus1. I will enjoy sorting through these and look forward to seeing what else you might find in your nooks and crannies.

This afternoon the postman brought us the mail from Londonbus with the very nice Europa sheets/cinderellas. I love them! They are a nice addition to the ever growing Europa collection. Thank you very much, Mike!
(P>S> again, the stamps were not cancelled, but at least the marker monkey was on vacation!)

I also received some items from Londonbus yesterday that helped to fill in many of the holes in my GB collection .. you know, the ones that are not necessarily high value, but you hate to see that hole! Thanks so much, and just to tell you that the US Postal system seems to be humming along quite nicely!

I just visited with Art Strohmeier and was pleasantly surprised when he handed me the latest Stanley Gibbons catalogs for France, Germany and Italy. The information and kindness found through this Forum is greatly appreciated.
