"Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in" Received large bundle FREE SWAPS from Canada, from Dianne (Tip: Place stamps in Top Right corner, BUT in about an Inch, the truck running over our covers, is showing no mercy ) Received example scanned pages from New Romania Catalogue from "Calstamp" Nice Jim, I think I prefer my Older Catalogue, I'll take a scan of your pages, and see if YANDEX can translate on the fly. The Colour is nice. The world is yelling out for a full English Romania Catalogue. |

Just got a wonderful package of WW for the kids from Jasper - Dutch US Stamp Collector
The kids were excited for about 10 minutes. That is ok, at least they were excited for a little. My wife really liked the souvenir sheets. I will put them on a shelf and pull them out again the next time the kids want to look at stamps. Thank you. |

I'm finally getting around to posting my first ever win in a give away, The "Frugal Philatelist". I received the giveaway stamps, 120+, on Friday and just got the time to go through them. So I will be posting pics to show everyone what was gifted to me in this pack. The Frugal Philatelist also gifted me with a little surprise. These Bermuda Stamps were included. I do love the colors on all of these, for modern stamps, I just might have to dig in on them. These also came in the bunch: As you can see there are some pretty cool stamps in this gift. But wait there's more. I haven't shown you the special gift or unused stamps. See you on my next post. |

The "Frugal Philatelist" Giveaway (cont.) I also Received these unused but hinged stamps, these are really neat to look at: These last 2 pics are the special gift, which I am grateful for, as I did not have a complete collection but now I do. Thank you so very much "Frugal Philatelist", I have really enjoyed this hunt: These are complete sets of MNH definitive series for West Germany- Berlin: Federal Republic of Germany President Dr. Gustav Heinemann (1899-1976) issued 1970-73 & German Buildings from 12 centuries (small format) issued 1964-65 Thank You again to the "Frugal Philatelist" for this amazing gift. I'm honored to be the first one to claim the prize. Please comment everyone on the gifts and encourage the "Frugal Philatelist" to continue this giveaway every month. I would love to hear your thoughts. |
