A very large stamp was issued by Costa Rica on September 3, 2003. It measures 15cm x 8 cm (120 cm2);

It was issued is a sheet contains more 10 regular size stamps, all tell about Cocori, Children's Story written by Joaquin Gutierrez and Illustrated by Hugo Diaz:

On a tangent,
a very large Minisheet
Milennium 2000 Guinea Republic.

Robert Silvers invented this technology whilst still a student at MIT in 1994

2040 different (Nautical) images, blended to form THE TITANIC.

Each stamp therein, has 68 differing images.

DDR issued in 1969 a SS contains one stamp. While the SS in a normal size, the stamp is very large, measures 8.7x7.7 cm (67cm2). I never saw it on cover.

This large Switzerland stamp arrived on a Postcrossing card. The stamp measures about 3" wide.
