Here is an image of a stamp depicting Turkish field artillery in action at Sudd ul Bahr in 1915, during the Battle of Gallipoli, printed by typography, and issued by Turkey in 1916, Scott No. 420. Note: The principal weapon depicted on the stamp appears to be a German-made Krupp 7.5 cm Model 1903 howitzer (photo), but I am certainly no expert on guns. - nethryk  |

Nelson's Dockyard is a cultural heritage site and marina in English Harbour, Antigua. It was named for British admiral and national hero Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, KB (1758-1805), who lived in the Dockyard from 1784 through 1787. Here are images of the two stamps in a set depicting the Dockyard, with an inset portrait of Lord Nelson, engraved and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., Ltd., and issued for use in Antigua on November 14, 1962 to publicize the restoration of the Dockyard, Scott Nos. 127 & 128. - nethryk  |
