THe Australian Armed Forces, 1940 is a very haunting stamp for some reason. I really like the design.
Aussie Al, if all these are from your collection, you have reason to take pride. The stamps are lovely. |

No way, too dear. The stamps were all CTO. When I purchased these from the original old collector, he said the pack sold for £1(?). Over the years Dealers sold the CTO's sseparatelyout of the packs. Many collectors in-fact own stamps originating from these packs.
Hopefully other collectors may know more about all the circumstances with these now scarce packs. |

Roos, thank you for that link. I checked it out and there's stamps in the pack that 'do not belong there'. In my opinion someone has filled in the missing stamps to complete the pack.
I paid over $1000 ten years back from the original buyer who has since sadly pass away. |
