Charing Cross Collectors Fair [+beer], June, August, 2011

CHARING CROSS COLLECTORS FAIR [+BEER], JUNE 18THAny members in or around London fancy meeting up on Saturday June 18th, please let us know here. Nothing fancy, just a very good market with lots of bargains [usually] and we'll go to a local pub for beer and/or lunch. The Fair is under-the-Arches of Charing Cross Mainline Station and opens at 7.30am. And of course, we can discuss stamps !  Londonbus1.....just an idea !

Great idea, Londonbus. A bit to far for me though, but a stamp fair, a nice pint and good company sounds like a nice way to spend a Saturday.  |

I am there ! I went this Saturday past and picked up two items, no one to have a beer with afterwards though. Our man with the car and all the stockbooks was there - I didn't find anything great. Hopefully he will have new stock by the 18th . |

LB he definitely had more in the photos above than what he had on Saturday - I might have to go every week just to check! I will post my two purchases from Saturday in another thread.

No preference here Anthony. We have been in one just opposite that served decent food and was quite nice. Happy to go with flow. Who else can we drag along ? |
