I just popped onto ebay to have a look around and stumbled on this mint with small hinge remnant 1908 1/2c Quebec Tercentennary stamp counting down, when something about it caught my eye.
It's the wrong colour.
I'm afraid time (no time to email seller), paypal (I had a small amount in my account) and the thrill of a treasure got the better of me and I made yet another impulse bid, and won it.
Now, I know scans can be off in their representation of colour, and our monitors can be off, but come on, that is supposed to be brown.
What do you all think? What do I have here?

We'll see what I get when it arrives in the mail.
