Hello everybody, I just got my latest purchase in the mail today and thought I would post it. They are Belgium, theused ones I think are from the 1960's and the others are from the 1980's and MNH :) and decently centered. Thanks for looking, I was very excited to get them today.
David

Nice stuff there David. I've liked Belgian stamps (even though I only have a few)for a long time,
mainly for their excellent engraved ones.

Nice stamps. Really liked the used ones.

Got curious about the squared cancellation on some of the used ones. What kind of cancellations are these? Just "normal" ones, only squared?

Hi yobo, I really don't know, I haven't had a chance to research them yet. that was what I liked about the used ones too. I like things that are different to me. Researching them is on my to do list.
Thanks
david

Hello, I was able to do a bit of research on the used stamps above. They are Belgian Railway parcel Post stamps. If someone can tell me how to post a link from that website I will do so. I think you will find it very interestind. The rectangular cancels, as far as I could gather, are railroad cancels and the circular ones are reegular postal cancels.
Thanks
David

It is just a copy and paste operation. Copy the URL (click once on it to select, or, if that doesn't work, click three times rapidly, so as to highlight the whole url. Then use the right mouse button , select copy, go to your message posting window (assuming you have two browser windows open or two tabs in Firefox, and right click, paste.
