Does anyone know if there is a Great Britain equivalent to either of the United States albums?

The only ones I have been able to find are in the $100+ range.

You can print your own off if you are into that sort of thing for $30. www.stampalbums.com

Once you get the CD you can print off an album for any other country you get a hankering for.
That is what I did anyway.

Smauggie,

Thanks for the suggestion about printing my own pages.

It just seems to me, though, that by the time I print out pages from 1840 to the present, I will have spent a fortune in card stock and printer ink.

I appreciate your help!

Spanishmoss, if there is, I'd also love to hear about it. My search has been unsuccessful so far.

A country collection from ebay might net you a usable album. If the stamp count is unimpressive, you might not have a lot of competition.

Palo makes nice pages, though they'd be bumping up against your price point. Here is a link to look at...you'd have to supply the binder for now...

I am sure I have seen Gibbons advertise a group of British albums, essentially ranging from the very simple to a more advanced version. Being Gibbons, I am also sure that the prices are high. I just googled Stanley Gibbons. They have 259 Great Britain albumsand related items. If you go there, try not to faint at the prices.

I have an almost new Stanley Gibbons GB Album 1840-1990, only used on a few pages, complete with slipcase and very attractive Coat of Arms on the binder front. Excellent condition.

Problem is, the postage would be $38 alone !! [I just checked].

Anyway, as a last resort and if all else fails you can have it for $12. [$50 total]. I can supply photographs if interested.

Cjd, what a great idea. I will be on the lookout.

Londonbus, thank you for the most generous offer. I am going to have to pass, though, because of the high shipping costs. Muchas gracias, senor!

Thank you everyone for all the help. I'll let you know if I find anything worth mentioning.

This is an awesome site and I am very privileged to be in such great company.

Londonbus' offering of 50 dollars is a super value. A new Brit Albums goes for 350 US Centavos..

It is a wonderful offer and I wish I could take him up on it.

Maybe I need to start listing some auction items on here.
