I know I haven't reached 50 posts yet, but I'm just trying to do a little research.
I have a few Cinderellas, some trading stamps and a few phone cards and wondering how I would even begin to offer them at a fair price or if it's even worth the effort?
Any suggestions from the Cinderella experts on this forum?
Jeremy, thats an interesting question..i often ask myself something similar..i go to a stamp sale...i do not see much that I care about..but I know so and so collects widgets..if the widget is a dollar or two I pick it up..i may get bids of 3 or 4 dollars on it.Not as much fun as finding something for myself..but perhaps I helped a fellow collector..i suggest that when you get your 50 posts you put a cinderella or two out there..or you can use the trade option and perhaps get something of value to you in return..to me its fun...i know one fellow who thinks his time is too valuable to list on the internet..and I know another guy that could buy and sell him and he list stamps on a internet site for 5 cents each ! To each his own !!
I often see stamps here that are given away and yet I would pay upwards of $5 for It depends on postmarks and what I collect, people often fail to see that, and assume they have "junk" but some of us collect "junk" and will pay for it. I would suggest you give it a go, You have nothing to lose on SCF.
I have done some research on the internet and I had no idea how much variety there is in the area of Cinderellas.
Mine are your basic Christmas, Easter and other charity seals with a few S&H and Clark trading stamps thrown in for some additional historical interest.
