Wadmalatz, it has white, uneven gum, so it's presumably a perf variety.

Hi,

I have some Hungarian occupation overprints as well. Read that there's a lot of falsifications in this area and tried to find means by which i'll be able to distinguish genuine ones. The post of Wadmalatz https://goscf.com/t/15782#143146 related identification of Kolozsvar(Cluj) and Varad(Oradea) issues is really fantastic and greatly appreciate it as it was the first light in the dark for me.
Now my curiosity pushes me further because there are other occupation territories like Debrecen, Temesvar, Arad, Baranya etc for which i'm searching for same guide. So would like to ask members help in this regards. Should you have any guide that points to micro-signs that helps identification please post them or point me to information source where I should be able to find them.
Sorry for the short story made long and as a "compensation" let me add a few photos from my occupation collection - possibly with a lot of false items?!?

Thanks hy-brasil! This website helps a lot as well. Brainard's book can be a very good reference as well. I have searched on the internet about and found a site where apparently can be bought but it is quite expensive abd they did not provide electronic version so they charge for shipping as well.

A book by Souers is also very helpful - it shows lots of close-up photos showing the difference between forgeries and genuine stamps. Make sure you get version 2 which has many more pictures
