Hi,

My collection is almost complete, but I am still looking for some issues. Does anyone know who can sell me new issues of Gabon (2009 and later)? ebay gives some stamps, at about 15 times Michel's valuation - not good. Any dealer/collector/anybody at all you can recommend?

Aisaev:

You probably won't get a lot of response on this -- YET.

Remember, the SCF Rules prohibit Buy/Sell/Trade activity until you have 50 posts.

You're already making good contributions here. So, just hang on a little while -- those 50 posts will come before you know it.

I believe there is an organization in New york city which is the 'official' stamp wholesaler/dealer for lot of countries, particularly African ones. I cannot remember its name.. International.. something. Sorry for that vague reply but someone her would know what I'm talking about.

Edit: Found it.. http://www.igpc.net/client.html

Try this place..

IGPC only sells to dealers, no direct sales to public.

Oh, and Gabon didn't have anything issued by IGPC since 2002 - their new issues are more local, while IGPC's ones are notoriously generic and almost never country-specific (like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, some international event, like Centenary of Chinese Aviation. The 2 issues of Gabon I am primarily interested in are, in fact, 10th World Conference of Masonic Grand Lodges (2009), and 50th Anniversary of Independence (2010).

KirkS:

Is asking to point to some dealers who are on the elsewhere on the web and not members of theses forums against the rules? After all, I am not posting in Buy/Sell/Trade forums, just asking for some pointers.
