Hello all
I am new ....
I am glad I found this website and this particular forum - I have been collecting flags on stamps, postal stationary, postcards, etc for quite a while but don't really know anyone else who does so.
BTW are we allowed to post only images of stamps here or can other postal stationary showing flag(s) be permitted as well?
For example, this is the flag of the Northern Territory, WA on a PO envelope.

Cheers
Tom Koh

Tom Koh - Nice one! Welcome to SCF.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting the national flag of Mexico, printed by photogravure, and issued by Mexico on September 16, 1960 as one of a set of three stamps commemorating the 150th anniversary of Mexican independence, Scott No. C250.

You should read the Community Rules, but, in general, just about anything stamp-related is allowed. And we LOVE pictures. I'm sure you'll find other Flag-Lovers here on the forum, so keep posting and see where it leads ...

Nice one !

Welcome to all the 'new' Flag collectors. I started this thread long ago and it became rather long !

Nethryk and others have been keeping it going more than I lately, and I thank them for that.

I did come back with a few new items from my trip to the UK plus I have hundreds of items still to scan and add. One day soon.

In the meantime the quiz.......

Dominican Republic-Sweden
Australia-U.K.
Estonia-Latvia
Germany-U.S.A.
Hungary-Czechoslovakia
Belgium-Slovenia
Soviet Union-India
Brazil-Paraguay
Nicaragua-Cuba

Hello to everyone! -Nice Forum.New here, and my first language is spanish,so excuse any error.*Please note, that the flag paired in the Nicaragua stamp, is not from Cuba,It is in fact the flag of Puerto Rico (same design, but inverted colors), Roberto Clemente was a puertorican baseball player, who tragically died in an Airplane accident while transporting food and supplies that he helped raise in Puerto Rico (to the earthquake victims in Nicaragua). Here is a USPS stamp of Clemente with the Puertorican flag:

Hi,
my mistake. You are right Vandergoes, the flag on the Nicaragua stamp is flag of Puerto Rico (red stripes, blue triangle). I have no stamp of Puerto Rico flag, but there are two stamps of Cuba flag.
