Hello. I need help identifying this stamp. I think it is either #27 or #35 but am not at all sure.The cover is dated 1869 so that narrowed it down for mr. Other than the cploe, I am not sure how to tell which it is. As ratty as the cover is I still like it and plan to keep the stamp on the cover. thanks once more for your help.

Hi, it's not Scott #27 because the Emperor has a laurel wreath.

The cancel barely ties it to the cover, but the particular number (268) was issued to Ay, so all is well.
