photocopy of the Faridkot 1 Folus stamp:

The poor things were reprinted in fancy colours (
not blue) and the State also produced imitations, including in fancy colours, all after the Faridkot State issues ceased in 1885. I must say, though, that yours is about the craziest imitation of Faridkot I've yet come across

Edited to add: The basic stamp comes on three different types of paper: ordinary white wove (cat. £2.75), European laid (£16) and 'native' laid (£55). However, as the stamps were always printed in blue, it's hard to see how anyone could be fooled.
