I would need to go back and check, but if my memory servers the last pair I saw went of around $8000.00. But these would never sell for that amount. I will tell all why a little latter.

Here is one of my favorite show pieces. New York Rubber Co., License Stamp for Rubber Balls, Doll's and Toys.
Less than 6 known including 1 Proof.

In that case you need one with the "Tab" attached that adds another 4-5 inches. I just measured one of mine it actually adds 3.5 inches

This was my first find of a variety and I've yet to see another of this particular "balloon dot variety" . Doesn't catalog all that high but one of my personal treasures.
Stallzer love that encapsulated stamp-- seen simular on pawn stars and believe it was valued at $3k give or take a bit.

Those are simply incredible I knew by starting this thread I would see some really unique things.

Stallzer, you might be interested to know that I just saw an encased Jefferson at auction the other day. It was nearly as nice as yours and I believe it want for all the money, I think around 2 grand but I could be wrong.

About my $5.00 Columbians
I am almost surprised that nobody has picked up on the fact that they look a little funny. are for that postal rates are way out of line. Of course they are forgeries. For a short while I was collecting them and still have a few left. These $5.00 are gems and are not marked on front or back. There are less than a hand full like these in existence.
