Hello all does any one have a online source for the Queen Elizabeth Stamps. 1964-69 and the 1970 issues confuse me... I was hoping for a color examples of these series.

Here's a simple site for checking colours of Machins. Prior to 1971 and the introduction of decimal currency, the numerals on the Machin heads were followed by d, denoting pre-decimal pence.
There are many other Machin sites mentioned in earlier threads on this subject.

If you go to the Mark Sargent site (a dealer with all stamps for sale) you can see images of most British stamps with the SG numbers and Scott where applicable.

Try http://www.stampsforsale.co.uk/default.asp

IMO THE site for machins is http://www.adminware.ca/machin.htm

If you are confused just regarding the colours I suggest to stop reading now before you get to printers, paper, phosphor bands etc
Machins are possibly the most complex philatic items around.
