Statues On Stamps

The stamp below, which commemorates the 1952 International Exhibition of Sports Stamps in Rome, features two historic sculptures from Italy.

On the left is a 2nd century CE personification of the River Tiber ("Il Tevere"). It was formerly in the Vatican Museums, but now belongs to the Louvre Museum in Paris, thanks to Napoleon Bonaparte.

On the right is the statue popularly known as "Il Bigio", sculpted by Arturo Dazzi in 1932. This statue was erected in that year in the Piazza della Vittoria in Brescia, and was praised by Mussolini at that time as a prime representation of the facist era. In 1945, it was removed following many protests by anti-facists. An attempt to restore the statue was made in 2013, but the statue remains to this day in a local warehouse.

Does anyone happen to have any information about this stamp? I see it listed as relating to a "trophy challenge" at the Fiera di Milano, but I'd like to know more about that...

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the second version (1954) of a sculpture entitled Le prisonnier politique ("The Political Prisoner"), created by Luxembourgish sculptor Lucien Wercollier (1908-2002), which was erected at the cemetery Cimetière Notre-Dame in Limpertsberg in 1969 as a part of the Monument national de la résistance et de la déportation ("Monument of the national resistance and deportation"), and also depicting the nearby Croix de Hinzert commemorating the victims of Hinzert concentration camp, printed by photogravure (Courvoisier S.A.), and issued by Luxembourg on February 25, 1982, Scott No. 671, plus a photo of the Monument site.
