This 1980 stamp of Bolivia publicizes the Espamer '80 International Stamp Exhibition in Madrid, Spain. The iconic Cibeles fountain of Madrid is depicted, along with the show logo, which incorporates a stylized version of the fountain.

The Cibeles fountain was created from a design made by Spanish architect and artist Ventura Rodriguez (1717-85), who remained very active throughout his life on large state and religious projects in Spain.

From madridtourist.info, "The fountain (is) named after Cybele, or Ceres, Roman goddess of nature...the Cibeles fountain depicts the goddess sitting in a chariot pulled by two lions. The fountain was built in the reign of Charles III, between 1777 and 1782."
