Here are images of a couple of stamps depicting a Ouidah witch doctor holding an African rock python ( Python sebae), designed and engraved by Jacques Combet, and issued by Dahomey (now Benin) on February 18, 1963, Scott Nos. 163 & 168. Relax everyone! Although this species is the largest snake native to Africa, it is non-venemous, so it's cool.  - nethryk  |
