Quote: apastuszak - Sounds like you want scott supplements on good paper. Shocked that they don't make that available - even if it were an "on-demand" offering. I asked Scott that. Their management said no. |

Your best bet is to just go to a local print shop and copy them on better paper. I think supplements are very high markup items so even if they sold a PDF you would pay $10 for a $20 supplement. |

'Seriously, all I want is a major Scott catalog number complete supplement, with connected se-tenants only, stamp descriptions and decent heavyweight paper.'
You get most of that with Mystic except for the paper which is too lightweight for me, especially using mounts. I solved this by putting my pages in sheet protectors. Not cheap but it works for me.

Just as a recap- is White Ace the only album maker that provides space for setenants and their individual constituents? And Are White Ace and Minuteman the only one's with stamp descriptions? |

White Ace. Minuteman and the Mystic Heirloom are the only ones I know of with descriptions. I believe the Harris Liberty also has descriptions, but I have never seen a Liberty album to confirm. Sample pages on the Internet seem to show descriptions. |

Harris has descriptions. My first real stamp album was a Liberty but abandoned collecting (gave it to my Dad) when I went to college. I eventually got a National (hated the two post and price of supplements) and then went to Mystic and making my own. |

I was a Liberty user before I switched to White Ace (in the 80's). I dropped Harris when they started to put out supplement pages that were exact duplicates of the last page of the previous year but with one new issue from the newer year added. So you had to remount every stamp for the sake of one new one. Just bad decisions. I was never a fan of the two post system either.
What are the dimensions of the Minuteman pages? If they are standard I could see buying the supplement, scanning the pages and then reprinting them on better stock paper. |

The Minuteman uses oversize pages. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but they are bigger than standard US Letter/A4 size.
I believe that Harris albums do not use acid free paper, which may be bad for long term storage. |

Stamp Paraphernalia makes some interesting pages: http://www.stampparaphernalia.com/u...um_pages.htmThese have been discussed on here in the past. I currently use their pages for plate blocks and revenues. I decided for several reasons to keep my general US collection in Mystic. Their general US pages are very attractive but you have to buy singles and blocks of the se-tenant issues if you use them and there is an issue with the sizing of the spaces. |

I went down the same path as you, angore. Except that I went to an All American before settling on Mystic.

Just looked at the stampparaphernalia pages. They went too far the other way vis-ŕ-vis setenants. I look at a booklet as that issue's equivalent of a sheet. Therefore I never want to see an entire booklet in a so called singles album page, unless each and every stamp in the booklet is unique. In truth, I wish the USPS would stop issuing commemoratives in booklet form, period. |

Connected and disconnected se-tenants? Really?
How many people collect se-tenants this way? |
