I do not own one, but have considered purchasing this one in the past. I've always gotten hung up on the "simplified" part of the title. Without having seen one of these versions I guess I always wonder whether "simplified" means fewer stamp images.
This SG catalogue is an extract from their multi-volume "Stamps of the World" catalogue. It covers all African stamp issuing countries/territories of all periods. By "simplified" it essentially means that it lists only "face-different" stamps and miniature (souvenir) sheets, so there's no allowance for different watermarks, perforations, shades etc.
