its beyond my control.i sit down at the computer and my fingers type in topicals/cinderellas..for the most part there is no catalog value..i bid what I think they are worth..on the bright side...where else can you create a unique collection so easily..no I don't think Londonbus and Rod have had any influence on me...not that I am strong minded or anything !!

philb, I used to be like you, that was after I disposed of my "philatelic" collection.

After while & several purchasing I've become "Cindyholic"!

Cheers

That's the WORST kind of influence -- you never saw it coming, did you?

Good for you, philb!

For me, maybe I became fed up after around 10 years of being a "philatelist" where I used to do researches & study them in details.

I think I left no room for me to breathe & have a break, because I was "so" enthusiastic about Egyptian "philately" & was running contentiously & never stopped to look back & meditate & speculate!

However, that was wrong, I know!

Sometimes, a collector needs a break from his collecting hobby in order to re-charge & re-start.

Anyway, I'm trying to compensate what I've had missed with Cindys collecting which is ENJOYABLY!

Cheers
