On June 9, 2008 Guernsey issued "Photographs of Guernsey" stamp booklets featuring local sites. One of these depicts the St Peter Port lighthouse. It is Scott #927i, and is denominated at the 40p "UK" rate (mail sent off the island to the U.K.). Saint Peter Port harbor has been used since the Roman occupation, but has been improved as an artificial harbor in modern times. The still active lighthouse was constructed in 1867.

Concerning the lighthouse, biblio.com states, "Located at the end of the breakwater at St. Peter Port. Accessible by walking the breakwater. Site open. Tower closed."

In March of 2016, Ireland issued these four, 72c domestic rate "Commissioners of Irish Lights" stamps in concert with the launch of an exhibition of the Commissioners' work in the Galway Docks at Seafest, an annual maritime festival. Each of these stamps has a stylized lighthouse in its right panel, "lighting" the image on the stamp. The upper right sheet selvage contains a row of ink color lighthouses, an indication that this sheet was printed by Cartor Security Printing. The first day cancel contains a lighthouse image.

From irishlights.ie website, "Irish Lights is a maritime organization delivering an essential navigation and safety service around the coast of Ireland."
