Hey guys, just thought I'd show you something I made. One of my other interests is bookbinding/box making so I thought I could make a nice box to hold my supplies and stamps. Covered in japanese book cloth with corkboard central panels framed with strips of wood on the outside with mulberry paper lining. Got some little wood feet on there as well. I'm pretty stoked on how it came out, should've made it a bit bigger though. What do you guys think?

Wow, nicely done. I have a picture book about box making, that's about as far as I got. |

That is outstanding! My Stamp box consists of a hatbox sized plastic box I picked up at the dollar store with homemade cardboard dividers that I taped to the bottom. Pretty primative compared to yours! Have you ever thought about going into business doing boxes like that for other philatelists? I'm sure quite a few people would be interested. |

Hi NeoRev that is a great looking box. Great effort! Maybe someday you can post some instructions for a simplified one? |

Thanks guys! I'll try to get some instructions together for a simplified one (this one involves laminating paper to the boards and a bunch of sanding) I've made some small boxes and sketchbooks for people before, those were custom jobs if you will, when I get some time I'd like to make a bunch up for sale. Yeah those packs of mounts get out of control piled on your desk |

Thank you, there's still some room for improvement though, the little details, seams and what not. Always trying to get better! I_Love_Stamps, good eye! There's a wrinkled and crinkled Narcotics stamp there RJA67 imperf I believe, an old tobacco taxpaid stamp and some bottled liquor seals. |

That is very nice! Certainly beats the Motley collection of shoeboxes and plastic chinese takeaway cartons that I use. |

Thank you! I like the larger ones. I ave a few of the lower denominations but no large ones yet. I really like the organizational aspect of that box. Great! |
