I found this while searching ebay online yesterday. It's the cover of one of Climax Blues Band's albums called "Stamp Album." Also a souvenir pocket magnifying glass was sold in conjunction with this album. Does anyone know whether actual stamps were included in the album?

I'm starting to get interested in music cinderellas. Someone else on the SCF had posted photos of a Thelonius Monk and I've been searching for an actual copy with no success yet.

So, someone in that thread made the comment, "superb cinderella". Does that mean a cinderella doesn't have to be a stamp or is there actually a sheet of Climax Blues Band cinderella stamps floating around somewhere?

I bought it new many years ago. No stamps were included and Yes, I do still have it! It was one of my favorites for a long time.

This might be a tall order! as I recall He retired in the late 60's or very early 70's. He really wasn't given his due until very late in his career.

Andy Partridge of the band XTC released a 9-CD box set called the Fuzzy Warbles Collector's Album:

Quote:
Each disc has a unique Fuzzy Warbles stamp cover artwork and the collector's box to keep them all in is designed to imitate a stamp album. There is even a bonus CD, Hinges, which features nine extra tracks only available with this set. Inside each box is a landscape oversized booklet, in which Andy gives a fascinating insight to his recording process with "A Brief History of Home Taping." Describing his earliest experiences of recording music at home and the excitement of those first recording sessions, it all makes fascinating reading, tinged with just a hint of regret as to how the songwriting process has become so bland as recording technology makes things easier and easier.

The final piece of the Fuzzy Warbles Collectors Album jigsaw is your own sheet of Fuzzy Warbles stamps to play with, if anyone could ever dare to part with them!
