I remembered late yesterday afternoon the Stampex was on again at the Business Design Centre in Islington which is close to where I work so I rushed there with 30 mins. remaining before closing time.
It was a good time to go as I didn't have to queue for anything which I'm not that good at
I succumbed to buying the Royal mail 'special' items and a few bits 'n bobs.

First up is the Penny red facimile.

I saw this SS in a box of discounted items which is a pretty nice design.

The next two items are pretty poor but Machin related so what could I do?
This sheet is a very poor design and Machin deserves better.

And lastly an exhibition special set of Post 'n Go stamps

I was there, too... at Delcampe booth. And I saw the lines to buy the Royal Mail issues. Very interesting the machine printing the "bird" stamps: "on the fly" I obtained some stamps to ship Europe some Delcampe postcards.

Hi Marco,
I was lucky to get there at a quiet time as I have seen the queues at the Royal Mail stand before.
I should have picked up a few sets of the birds3 Post & Go stamps as there are going for silly money on ebay.
£4.21 sets selling for £60. Just one of those would have covered my trip.

Whoever pays £60 for that set is both insane and clueless.
And they definitely know nothing about stamps !

Hope you enjoyed the show Anthony. Wish I could have shared the time with you. A bit show-starved here just now.

Please refrain from using the words, England, UK, London or any part of Great Britain AND the word stamps at the same time! Despondency now sets in for the rest of the day. Londonbus1 show us some flags, please!
