These overprints were issued in 1899, and used until May 20, 1902 when Cuba assumed self-government from US military rule.

Definitely interesting to those of us who collect Classic US. I have copies of these (and Puerto Rico overprints) even though I don't specialize in that area.

Because Cuba stamps from this era are listed by Scott in the Specialized catalogue of US stamps and covers, I collect them ... but no other era from Cuba.

Same with me Rileysan. I had a whole load of Cubans I sold here and on ebay, only kept the US administration issues.

Hi:

From this period of US stamps for use in Cuba, I have the following that you can check in this scans:

All are issued for Cuba use on period 1899-1902.

Regards.

Alejandro.

Guam and Canal Zone also had overprinted US stamps. I just posted a bunch of the CZ stamps I recently purchased in the, oddly enough, recent purchases thread :)

Don't have any Guam yet
