A friend of mine, form work, has just been to Malaysia and bought these stamps back for me (as well as a bundle of coins). Just wanted to share them with you.

Steve,

Thanks for posting the scans. I find the bottom group of nine to be quite attractive! Do you know what the small yellow map represents? Is this the state/province where the depicted building is located?

Yes, that is correct and the coat of arms for each state is inside the map also.

Great looking stamp! I ran a quick search on ebay for grins and giggles and stumbled upon the souvenir sheet for this issue.

Not sure I'd drop $7 for it, but it is pretty nice looking!

Great looking stamps Steve

I had a trading partner from Malasia but I haven't heard from her in awhile.

I'll have to see if I have doubles for you.

Thank you Dianne.

Beezer, I wish you hadn't shown me that link, it just confirmed my suspicion, that I am missing one of the set.

If you check the XII SEA Games issues for 8th September 2001, you can see how the tab appeared on the sheets for each of the 5 values (different orientation for each value):

Many thanks 22crows.
5 to a sheet, ergo expect to pop up B.o.b. in many collections.
