I live close to one of Canadas premier artist ROn Suchiu and have actually worked in the print shop he used to use for his very low volume litho prints. This guy is truly a phenomenal artist and did a rendering of the Titanic which sold out and is now worth about 5x issue price. I personally own his Edmund fitzgerald print which is worth about 10-15x my original purchase price from years ago. I just received an email that they will be using his original painting of the Titanic to be printed by Canada Post for use as a special framed/ matted collector piece. Not sure if it will simply be "picture postage " or if they have arranged something special but at $275 it seems a bit steep for any stamp collctable but could be a long term winner. No pics availiable as yet but here is link with minor details
